Oracle ミドルウェア ライセンスの最適化

Our License Specialist with 25+ years experience in assisting Oracle Clients will give you the appropriate guidance and support regarding your Oracle software.
The Oracle License Review process is divided into three steps:
Step 1 – Contract and Data Gathering
We replicate the standard Oracle process to deliver a realistic view on what issues Oracle could potentially identify in an audit.
This includes gathering all contracts including support renewals, original ordering documents and any side letters or correspondence that may be relevant.
Step 2 – Oracle Middleware Stack usage analysis
Results are entered into a ‘Master Deployment Spreadsheet’ which typically shows, where required, the information for each Middleware deployment across the fleet. No scripts need to be run for this analysis.
Triggers are also checked to identify any usage of any payable Oracle Options and Packs deployed for Middleware.
Along with the detailed results of the analysis, the ‘Master Deployment Spreadsheet’ will also contain a tab showing an overview of the results along with general information that may be useful when used in accordance with the results of the report.
Step 3 – Remediation and Audit Defense
An Oracle Middleware audit has three levels that need to be ticked to prove actual commercial usage of any product:
- That the Option or Pack has been enabled within the Middleware instance.
- That there has been data that is non-vanilla populating tables or usage counters have been incremented.
- That there is proof of commercial usage (not just demo tables etc).
In specific circumstances the reports provided to the customer will allow them to proactively have a look at particular triggers and initiate a clean-up process where required to avoid any potential issues should the customer be audited by Oracle in the future.
This Oracle License Review process is developed to help the customer understand the following topics where required:
- Fully understand the contracts the customer currently has with Oracle and how they can be developed or renegotiated with Oracle to provide future benefit.
- Help maximise the current license entitlements that have been deployed.
